Our Staff

Our Manager Tonya has been in the pet industry since she was a little girl.

She began her pet industry career at the age of seven working on a horse show farm in California eventually becoming a trainer.

Because of her abilty with and love of animals she became a Veterinarian Technician while raising three beautiful children. While a Vet Tech, Tonya also enjoyed owning and operating a Canine rescue and relocation facility and became an accomplished pet groomer as well.

Tonya brings over 30 years of animal husbandry and vet tech and grooming experience to Green Acres and we couldn't be more happy to have her in our little family of critters.

Rebecca is the newest addition to Green Acres, but certainly not new to canines.

Rebecca is a Kansas native and began her career as an obedience trainer just out of high school. Rodeo, horses and dogs have always been a foremost in her life, along with raising a beautiful daughter and grand daughter.

She has a masters degree from the University of Kansas and is completing her Doctorate in 2015. She has been a certified canine trainer, a conformation judge, handler in the show ring and a breeder specializing in Newfoundlands.

Rebecca has been training some 48 years plus and now brings her talents to Green Acres Getaway, pet boarding, grooming and now training. She offers classes from beginners obedience to advanced and therapy training

Scott Kroll

Scott is the 'Heart and Soul' of Green Acres.

While he doesn't bring the amazing credentials that Tonya and Rebecca do, Scott holds the mission, vision and values of Green Acres deep within his heart.

Scott has been an animal lover since he was a small boy, but it took him 40 years to find his calling life and that is caring for your kids (Furry Companions) and he will tell you that he only cares for two legged kids in emergencies.

Animals are his inspiration and from that passion and love, Green Acres Getaway was born.

Scott painstakingly built much of the facility himself and has great plans for the future.

Once you meet Scott, you'll feel like you have a friend for life and so will your pets.
